Wisconsin shot a 2-over 290 in Round 2
San Antonio, Texas – Gabby Curtis and Brooke Ferrell remained the Badgers' best golfers at the Alamo Invitational, as the pair is 1-over for the tournament and tied for eighth. Wisconsin (303-290=593) is 17-over after going for a 2-over 290 in the second round, Monday, at Briggs Ranch Golf Club.

UW's top performers swapped scores from the first round to the second round: Curtis put up a 73 and 72, while Ferrell shot a 72 and 73. Curtis' two-round score of 145 tied a season-low.

The Badgers are in fifth and lead sixth-place Texas State (+18, 298-296=594) by one stroke and Mississippi State (+19, 299-296=595) in seventh by two shots. Wisconsin trails Texas Tech (+15, 297-294=591) in fourth and TCU (+12, 297-291=588) in third by two and five strokes, respectively.

Florida (+3, 293-286=579) is first at the Alamo Invitational, ahead of second-place Arkansas (+9, 294-291=585) by six shots.

Nat Zeng (78-72=150) and Michelle Cheung kept up with Curtis and Ferrell, as the duo shot a 72 and 73, respectively, in Round 2.
