TEAM NOTES
? Wisconsin improved to 20-2 on the season, the second-best 22-game start in program history. The Badgers opened the 2006-07 season with a mark of 21-1.
? The Badgers also moved to 8-1 in the Big Ten, which equals the team's best 9-game start in the modern era (post-1946). UW also began 8-1 in 1947, 2007 and 2008.
? Bo Ryan improved to 341-123 (.735) during his time in Madison. He also improved to 164-67 (.710) all-time in Big Ten action, the highest winning percentage in conference history.
? The Badgers are now 102-14 (.879) under Bo Ryan against Big Ten teams at the Kohl Center and 205-22 (.903) against all competition at the Kohl Center.
? UW recorded its 13th-consecutive home win over Indiana, a streak that began in 2000. Bo Ryan-led teams are now 11-0 against the Hoosiers at the Kohl Center
? Overall, Ryan is 20-4 (.833) all-time against Indiana, the second-best winning percentage of any coach in Big Ten history against IU (Ralph Jones was 12-0 against the Hoosiers with Illinois and Purdue from 1910-20).
? The Badgers' 44 first-half points were their most against a Big Ten opponent since scoring 50 in the opening half against Illinois (Jan. 8, 2014).
? The Badgers scored 92 points, their most points in a Big Ten contest since defeating Illinois, 95-70, on Jan. 8, 2014. It also marked UW's second-highest scoring output of the season, as UW defeated Milwaukee 93-54 on Dec. 10.
? The Badgers shot 29-48 (.604) from the floor, and 6-of-11 (.545) from beyond the arc. It marked the third time this season UW has shot better that .600 from the floor.
? Wisconsin was 28-31 (.903) from the charity stripe, marking the fourth time this season UW has shot above .900 from the free throw line. The Badgers' attempted 31 free throws, marking the second time in Big Ten play UW has attempted 30 or more free throws.
? Wisconsin began both halves strong, as UW opened the game on a 9-0 run before opening the second half on a 13-0 run.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
? Senior Frank Kaminsky scored a game-high 23 points off 9-of-12 (.975) shooting. Kaminsky also added 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Kaminsky has scored 20 or more points 5 of the last 6 games.
? Sophomore Nigel Hayes recorded 16 points, including 11 points in the first half. Hayes was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field and dished out 3 assists.
? Junior Sam Dekker tallied 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Dekker also chipped in six rebounds.
? Sophomore Bronson Koenig finished with 15 points, and was 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Koenig has scored in double-figures in five of his six games as a starter, while he accomplished the feat only twice in 16 games as a reserve this season.
? Making his 126th career start tonight, senior Josh Gasser tied Alando Tucker for the most starts in Wisconsin program history. He also appeared in 130th career game which is tied with Mike Wilkinson for eighth in program annals.
? Gasser finished the game with 11 points, and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
? Sophomore Zak Showalter tallied a career-high 9 points, all coming in the second half, on 3-of-4 shooting.
