Introducing...Seamus Malone

MADISON, Wis. -- With the 2015-16 Wisconsin men's hockey season right around the corner, UWBadgers.com goes beyond what fans will see on the ice this season to introduce the 10 members of the Badgers' freshman class by exploring their personalities, likes and dislikes.
Next up in the series is forward Seamus Malone.
Malone comes to Wisconsin after three seasons in the USHL with the Dubuque Fighting Saints, including the 2012-13 season when the Saints won the Clark Cup as league champions. His most recent season in 2014-15 saw him put up 58 points in 58 games, a figure that ranked 11th in the league. Malone also netted 26 goals, the second-best mark on the Saints and the 14th highest total in the USHL. Besides his time in the USHL, Malone is another incoming Badger that brings international experience. Most recently, Malone played in the 2014 World Junior A Challenge with the U.S. Select Team, scoring a goal in four games of competition.
Malone will wear No. 18 as a Badger, a number that was not worn a season ago and was most recently used by Sean Little (2010-14).
