They are among the nation’s best on the pitch, on the ice, and on the court, and they all call Madison home. We brought Rose Lavelle, Lauren Carlini, and Ann-Renée Desbiens together and revealed that they have more in common than just athletic success.
MADISON, Wis. — The Oct. 5 edition of 'Varsity' Magazine is available and features three of Wisconsin's elite athletes: Rose Lavelle, Lauren Carlini, and Ann-Renée Desbiens. With busy schedules full of classes, practices, and games, these three women had never met before, despite sharing similar paths and accolades.

After a narrow 14-7 loss at Michigan last Saturday, the Badgers' football schedule provided a bye this week before returning to action against Ohio State, Oct. 15, for a much-anticipated night game at Camp Randall Stadium.
