Freshman honored after scoring first career goal
MADISON, Wis. – Elan Koenig has played a vital role in the Wisconsin men's soccer backline, helping the defense to eight shutouts this season, but on Sunday he went above and beyond. The redshirt freshman defender helped shut out Ohio State, 3-0, in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinal and scored his first career goal, which earned him a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.
