The perfect holiday gift for any soccer fan
MADISON, Wis. – Registration is now open for Wisconsin men's soccer team's elite winter camps. The Winter Holiday Camp will be held Dec. 27-28 and the Winter College ID Camp will be held Jan. 6-7.
The Holiday Camp is designed to give campers an opportunity to play soccer and develop their game over a time no one else is playing during their school's holiday break. The Holiday camp is available to any and all entrants, boys only, grades K-8 and is from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day. This session will be held at the indoor McClain Center turf attached to Camp Randall Stadium.
The Holiday Camp costs $180 and includes a boxed lunch each day. Check in is Dec. 27 from 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. at the McClain Center. Check out will be Dec. 28 at 3 p.m. at McClain. Registration closes on Dec. 26 at noon.
The Winter College ID Camp is designed for players and prospects to gain a better understanding of the demands of Division I college soccer. Over the course of 2 days our staff as well as other college coaches will train these athletes as if they were current members of the UW soccer team. Within these trainings we will utilize our UW players as demonstrative assistants to help you directly compare your strengths and weaknesses. By the end of the weekend you should have a great understanding of where you are with your development and what tools you need to concentrate on before entering the collegiate environment.
This camp is open to any and all male entrants in grades 9-Jr. College, as well as individuals attending a 4-year institution other than UW-Madison, with permission to contact on file with UW Athletics.
Registration will close on Jan. 4 or when maximum capacity has been reached. The cost is $220 per camper.
You can begin registering for any of the various clinics by visiting www.uwcamps.com.
