Three Badgers alive in championship round

EVANSTON, Ill. -- After the first session, Wisconsin sits in sixth place with 33.0 points at the 54th Midlands Championships in Welsh-Ryan Arena. The Badgers have three that are headed to the quarterfinals. Connor Medbery, Mason Reinhardt and TJ Ruschell will compete in the quarterfinals of their respective weight classes. Thirteen UW wrestlers are still alive in the consolation brackets.
