MADISON, Wis. – University Ridge Golf Course has launched its redesigned website, UniveristyRidge.com.  The new website is more user-friendly and responsive for mobile devices.
"We were looking to update our look and make it easy for users with mobile devices to register for tee times and view our website," Mike Gaspard, General Manager of University Ridge said. "The primary focus in our redesign process was the user experience—making sure our content is easy to navigate."
The site features an innovative and fully responsive layout and design that scales the presentation to fit the user device (desktop, tablet or mobile). With mobile usage rising significantly, the site is optimized for mobile viewing in addition to quality desktop or tablet presentations.
The re-launched site is a one-stop spot for all golfers. Those wishing to make a tee time online can click the "Book a Tee Time" button at the top right-hand corner of every page.
Also, while eliminating significant clutter, the enhanced navigation bar at the top will make for a more enjoyable user experience. Â Dropdown panels have been renamed, sorted and items added to give the user more content that is only one click away. From rates to instructional opportunities to course information, everything is available in a mobile-friendly format.
"This re-design was a true team effort. I would like to say thanks to Julia Hujet in our Athletic Communications Office for help with the graphics and site design, as well as Christopher Wiswell, our staff web developer," Gaspard added. "The University Ridge staff also contributed to the content reorganization and layout ideas."
