MADISON, WIs. -- Brooke Ferrell shot an 11-over 78-71-78--221 on the par 72, 6,273-yard The Traditions Course in Bryan, Texas, to finish 59th in the NCAA Bryan Championship and will not advance to the NCAA Championship in Eugene, Oregon.
The Edgerton, Wisconsin, native concludes her junior season as the all-time season leader averaging 73.25 strokes per round.
She led the Badgers or tied for the lead at six out of 10 tournaments in 2015-16. At the Big Ten Championship, she netted career-bests for 18 (65), 36 (137) and 54 holes (209) to end at 7-under. The junior's three-round scorecard also marked a new Wisconsin 54-hole record, outdoing the 211 she notched earlier this year at the Westbrook Spring Invitational.
Ferrell now owns four of the top 10 54-hole outputs in UW history. She led the Badgers in scoring for the second-straight season in 2015-16 with a career-best and school record 73.25 strokes per round.
