Eleven Badgers named Academic All-Big Ten

Student-athletes honored by conference
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's soccer team is still reaping awards for a successful season. This time it is for success the Badgers had off the pitch as 11 student-athletes were named Academic All-Big Ten on Wednesday.
Jamie Donohue, a junior defender from Evanston, Illinois and journalism major, earned the honor for the second time. Junior Steph Fabry, also a journalism major earned her second Academic All-Big Ten honor as well. Forward Sydney McGinnis, a native of Park Ridge, Illinois, also earned Academic All-Big Ten for the second time as a journalism major.
Grace Douglas, a sophomore defender, earned her first honor. She started all 22 games for the Badger backline this season and scored two goals.
Senior Becca Harrison ends her career with two Academic All-Big Ten honors after claiming the status in 2016. Harrison, a neurobiology major from Valencia, California, appeared in all 22 games this season and scored two goals.
Sophomore Natalie Jacobson earned Academic All-Big Ten for the second time. The neurobiology major was honored for sporting a 4.0 last year.
Junior Grace Quirk, a biology major from Highland, Park, Illinois, garnered her second Academic All-Big Ten honor.
Sophomores Dani Rhodes, Alaina Snedden, Payton Wesley and Allie Winterfield each earned their first Academic All-Big Ten distinction.
