MADISON, Wis. — The temperature said otherwise, but spring arrived for the Wisconsin football team Tuesday.

The Badgers held the first of 15 spring practices inside the McClain Center, working through 28 periods in helmets. The team will hold a second session Thursday before stepping a way for a week for UW's spring break and resuming drills on March 26.
