MADISON, Wis. – The Granato Era continues into its second season after head coach Tony Granato led the Wisconsin men's hockey program to second in the Big Ten Conference and a No. 17 national ranking last year. That is just the beginning as Granato, as well as associate head coach Mark Osiecki and newly hired associate head coach Mark Strobel have high expectations for the Badgers.

The coaching staff brings in a class that includes four NHL draft picks in freshmen defensemen Tyler Inamoto (Florida Panthers), Wyatt Kalynuk (Philadelphia Flyers) Josh Ess (Chicago Blackhawks) and forward Linus Weissbach (Buffalo Sabres) to a team that returns five drafted players. The Badgers also have plenty of game experience in a their upperclassmen, led by team captain, Cameron Hughes and last year's Big Ten Freshman of the Year Trent Frederic.

Badger hockey fans who have yet to secure tickets now have the ability to search from a range of available seat locations online, select their seats and secure their season tickets for the 2017-18 season. By ordering season tickets, fans will not only get to experience great college hockey at seat locations not yet available to single game and package purchasers, but will also save $4 per ticket off the regular single-game price. In addition, they will receive exclusive benefits all season long as well as have the ability to secure their seats for future years to come.

All sales for the 2017-18 season will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The men's hockey schedule is highlighted by 19 regular-season games at the Kohl Center. Home opponents for Wisconsin include Big Ten series against Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Penn State and Minnesota. The schedule also includes non-conference match-ups against rival North Dakota as well as the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game home opener against Michigan Tech. Face-off series season tickets for the first night of each series are available for $210 and include nine regular season home games and two potential Big Ten tournament quarterfinal games. Slap-shot series season tickets, for the second night of each series, can be purchased for $215 and includes 10 regular season home games and one potential Big Ten tournament quarterfinal game.
