ERIE, Pa. – The No. 2 Wisconsin women's hockey team takes its first road trip of the season this weekend to take on RV/No. 10 Mercyhurst in Erie, Pennsylvania.  Puck drop on Friday is set for 6 p.m. CT while Saturday's series finale begins at 2 p.m.

1. CLUTCH CLARK: Fifth-year Emily Clark is no stranger to awards and recognition for her elite play. One week into the season and Clark's already received another one as the Badger was named the WCHA Forward of the week. Clark had a monster opening series against Lindenwood where she scored three goals, including her 21st career game-winning goal, and had an assist in Wisconsin's sweep over the Lions.

2. TV TIME FOR THE BADGERS: UW will have five games featured live on television this season through FOX Sports Wisconsin and Fox Sports North. The Badgers' TV matchups include games against Princeton on Oct. 19, Minnesota State on Nov. 5 and Feb. 9 and two with St. Cloud State on Dec. 8 and 9. Learn more about the Badgers' and WCHA television schedule here.

3. LAST TIME OUT: Wisconsin raised its unbeaten streak at LaBahn Arena to 31 games after a clean sweep of Lindenwood last weekend. The Badgers outshot Lindenwood 91-16 over two games, winning 3-2 Friday and 6-0 Saturday. Thanks to the sweep, UW improved to 19-0-1 all-time in September and have outscored its opponents 109-13 in the ninth month of the year.

4. TWO OF THE BEST: UW head coach Mark Johnson and Mercyhurst head coach Michael Sisti are two head coaches who know how to win, and win a lot. The two are the winningest coaches in each of their respective school's history as Sisti has 462 career wins in 20 years at Mercyhurst while Johnson has 461 victories during his 16 years on the Badgers' bench. This weekend's series pits the No. 2 and No. 3 winningest coaches in NCAA collegiate women's hockey history in career wins.

5. AGAINST THE LAKERS: This weekend holds the 12th and 13th meeting all-time between the Badgers and Merychurst. UW is 11-0 all-time against the Lakers, including a 5-0 victory in the championship game of the 2009 NCAA Frozen Four. Wisconsin will play just its third game in Eire against the Lakers as UW has hosted Mercyhurst seven times while the two teams have met twice at neutral sites. Wisconsin swept Mercyhurst last year as Brette Pettet recorded a hat trick in the series finale.
