On the effort from Sunday's contest:
"I'm really proud of the team effort today, I think it's always hard to play two Friday, Sunday games in a weekend and this team showed a lot of heart and determination. Also, we had people stepping up in different roles and people coming off the bench who helped us do well. I'm very excited that this was truly a team effort."
On Purdue and moving forward:
"A very good Purdue side that was organized and we had to be consistent to break it down and I'm excited to get back to Madison and refocus and learn from these last two games."
Up next: Wisconsin takes a six-day break between games, returning on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 4 p.m. against Minnesota.
