MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's basketball team (6-1) returns home Wednesday night to duke it out with Duke (3-3) in the
12th-annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Tip time is 8 p.m. from the Kohl Center and the game airs live on the Big Ten Network. The Badgers are 6-5 all time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge and have faced the Blue Devils once, falling at home, 59-51, on Dec. 2, 2010.

1. MUSIC CITY CHAMPS: Despite losing their final game of the tournament on Sunday night, the Badgers were crowned champions of the Challenge in the Music City—Music Row Bracket with a 2-1 record. UW won the tie breaker, giving up the fewest points in the tournament.

2. ALL-TOURNAMENT: Senior Marsha Howard was named the MVP of the Challenge in the Music City—Music Row Bracket while junior Kendra Van Leeuwen was named to the all-tournament team. Howard averaged 11.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in the tournament while Van Leeuwen averaged 6.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game.

3. DOMINATING THE GLASS: Wisconsin has outrebounded six of seven opponents this season, ranking second in the Big Ten with 48 rebounds per game. Senior Marsha Howard and freshman Imani Lewis average 9.7 and 9.0 rebounds per game, respectively, ranking sixth and eighth in the conference.

4. BIG TEN FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK:  No. 34 Imani Lewis was named the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday. She is the first Badger rookie honored since Nicole Bauman was named the Freshman of the Week on Dec. 2, 2012. Lewis, a 6-foot-1 forward, averaged 13.0 points and 9.3 rebounds per game for the week while shooting .475 (19-40) from the field on the week. She grabbed her third double-double against Arkansas on Sunday with 13 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. Lewis also added four assists, one block and one steal over four contests, aiding the Badgers to the tournament title at the Challenge in Music City in Nashville over the weekend.

5. SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS: Last season the Blue Devils, ranked No. 12, (24-9 in 2017-18) and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. Duke is coming off of a hard fought, toe-to-toe game against No. 21 Missouri, but falling short in the fourth quarter, Redshirt junior Haley Gorecki scored a team-high 24 points while Leaonna Odom finished the game with 15 points.
