Twelve Badgers earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

Six student-athletes earn first academic recognition
MADISON, Wis. – Twelve members of the Wisconsin women's cross country team were named to the Academic All-Big Ten team, the league announced last Wednesday.
To earn Academic All-Big Ten honors, student-athletes must hold a grade-point average of 3.0 and be enrolled for at least 12 months at their respective institution.
Wednesday's release marks the first Academic All-Big Ten distinction for six of the team's members. Senior Liz Bohn, redshirt freshmen Taylor Nicholson, Megan Olshanski, Izzy Owca, and Trista Pringle and sophomore Bianca Stubler all earned the conference accolade for the first time in their cross country careers.
Elli Daniels, Katie Hietpas, Emma Langer, Alicia Monson and Rachel Werking earned the honor for the second-straight year, while redshirt senior Shaelyn Sorensen became a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
