Olofsson earns second team while Guitar notches third-team honors
MADISON, Wis. – The heart of an oppressing backline. The glue that held the midfield together. It is no surprise to see juniors Robin Olofsson and Mitch Guitar take home All-North Region awards for their work in the 2018 season.
Olofsson, a major participant in Wisconsin's impeccable seven shutouts, has also chipped in a goal of his own, to go along with 10 shots and four shots on goal this season. The Stockholm, Sweden, native, also earned a second-team All-Big Ten nod.
Guitar, who also found his name etched on the All-Big Ten second team, earns third-team All-North Region due to his stellar play in the midfield. The Royal Oak, Michigan, native, boasts two assists, 12 shots, four shots on goal and an immeasurable number of key passes that set up Badger scoring chances.
Both awardees return to the McClimon pitch for the ever-promising 2019 season.
