Badgers tie for 12th as Boilermaker Invitational shortened to 36 holes
Lafayette, Indiana. -- Steady rain, wind gusts and freezing temperatures cut the Wisconsin men's golf team's time at the Boilermaker Invitational one round short Sunday.
Poor conditions limited the Badgers' chance at a final round comeback, leaving UW in a tie for 12th place.
Wisconsin finished with a 594 (+18) through two rounds, 15 strokes shy of the leader heading into what would have been Sunday's final round.
Junior Jordan Hahn was steady throughout Saturday's 36 holes, shooting a 73 in both rounds (146, +2) to lead the Badgers individually and finish in a tie for 20th. Hahn finished seven strokes shy of first place. Sophomore Pete Kuhl was not far behind shooting a 147 (+3) to tie for 30th place.
