MADISON, Wis -- Wisconsin travels to Lincoln, Nebraska for a three-game series over the weekend, starting on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT live on the Big Ten Network. The Badgers and Cornhuskers then play at 1 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
1. LAST TIME OUT: The Wisconsin softball team (22-19 overall, 6-8 Big Ten) dropped both games of its doubleheader with Minnesota (29-14,12-3). UW fell 12-1 in the first game and 8-0 in the second contest.
2. Â YVETTE FOR 250, ALEX!: Wisconsin head coach Yvette Healy collected her 250th win at UW on Sunday against Purdue. The Badgers won in exciting fashion, against a season-high crowd of more than 1,000 fans. Healy and her crew have 22 wins on the season and six games left in the regular season.
3. KJ ALL DAY: Senior Kelsey Jenkins hit her second home run of the season and had the lone hit for the Badgers in the first game against Minnesota. Jenkins extended a 40-game reached-base streak and a 13-game hitting streak in game one but saw both of those streaks end in game two. She recorded her 200th career hit last Sunday against Purdue.
4. DINGERS ON DINGERS: In five of the last six games, the Badgers have hit a total of seven home runs.
