Breaking the ice ... with Brock Caufield
September 13, 2018 | Men's Hockey
MADISON, Wis. – As the start of the 2018-19 Wisconsin men's hockey season nears, UWBadgers.com delves deeper into both the on and off-ice lives of each of UW's nine newest skaters, exploring topics ranging from favorite hockey memories to what they would ask for if they had one wish.
Next up for the Badgers is Stevens Point native Brock Caufield.
Caufield spent the last two full seasons with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL before moving to Madison. During his time in Titletown, the forward tallied 25 goals and 57 points in 120 contests. More than doubling his point totals from the 2016-17 season, Caufield's 18 goals during the 2017-18 season ranked third on the team while his 40 points ranked fourth. Before joining the Gamblers, Caufield played for both Stevens Point Area High School and Team Wisconsin from 2013 to 2016.
Caufield joins former Badgers Jim Carey, Tim Sager and Duane Derksen in wearing the No. 29 sweater this season.
