MADISON, Wis. — The Badgers look for their 7th top-10 win – and 4th top-5 win – in 4 seasons under Greg Gard when they host No. 2 Michigan on Saturday. UW is 13-3 all-time vs. the Wolverines at the Kohl Center.

Up next, UW travels to Illinois on Wednesday, Jan. 23. The Badgers have won 13 straight over the Illini.

1. HEROIC HAPP: Senior Ethan Happ ranks 2nd in the Big Ten in scoring, 2nd in rebounding, 3rd in assists, 10th in blocks, 8th in FG Pct and 10th with a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio. The senior ranks 2nd in the NCAA with 11 double-doubles this season and has tallied at least 10+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists in 7 of 16 games. No other player in the country has more than 5 such games. Happ ranks 2nd in UW history with 42 double-doubles, trailing only Joe Franklin (47 from 1966-68).

2. HOME, SWEET HOME: Over the last 10 seasons, Wisconsin is 8-5 at the Kohl Center against teams ranked in the top 10 of the AP poll. Most impressively, that includes a 5-2 record in the 7 games in which unranked UW teams hosted top-5 opponents during that span.

3. AGAINST MICHIGAN: Saturday's game will be the 166th meeting between Wisconsin and Michigan in a series beginning in 1920. The Wolverines lead the all-time series 91-74, but the Badgers have owned a decided advantage over the last 25 meetings, going 19-6 since 2005. Wisconsin is 48-34 against Michigan in Madison, including an official mark of 13-2 all-time at the Kohl Center.

4. RISING REUVERS: Sophomore Nate Reuvers is coming off career highs of 18 points and 7 rebounds at Maryland. He has scored in double figures in 6 of the last 9 games (avg. 9.8 ppg). Reuvers ranks 4th in the Big Ten averaging 1.7 blocks per game. Reuvers tied the UW single-game record with 9 blocked shots against Stanford on Nov. 21.

5. HONORING THE PAST: Saturday is Wisconsin Basketball alumni day at the Kohl Center. At halftime of the Badgers' game vs. Michigan, Wisconsin will honor its basketball alums, giving special recognition to the 30-year anniversary of its 1988-89 team. Wisconsin's 1988-89 team finished the season with a record of 18-12 and reached the NIT, making the school's first postseason appearance since 1947.
