Three Badgers still in top 20 after round two
ERIN, Wis.- Erin Hills continues to provide a challenge as round two of the Marquette Intercollegiate concludes.
Three Badgers have stepped up to face the challenge. Sam Anderson, Cameron Frazier and Sebastian Iqbal have all remained in the top 20 after finishing the second round. To wrap up Monday's round of 18 holes, Anderson shot an even-par 72 and Iqbal a one-over -par 73. Both are one-over-par for the tournament and tied for 12th place. Griffin Barela shot a three-over 75, improving four strokes from Sunday. Nick Robinson shot a five-over 77 and Coalter Smith a seven-over 79.
The team finished the day in 15th place after shooting a nine-over par 297 strokes. They improved three strokes from Sunday and overall are at 21-over 579.
Cameron Frazier, Wisconsin's individual entry, tied for Wisconsin's best round of the day with an even-par 72. He is currently tied for 17th place.
Tuesday tee times start at 8:30 a.m.
