Klancnik named to Big Ten All-Tournament Team

Sophomore defender earns recognition for his postseason play

MADISON, Wis. – The Big Ten announced the members of the 2019 Big Ten Men's Soccer All-Tournament team and Wisconsin's Zach Klancnik was a member named to the team.

Throughout the season, Klancnik had been a key player in the Badgers backfield. He started in all 15 matches that he played this season and even scored a goal against Ohio State in their final regular season game of the year. Klancnik recorded two assists on the year as well.

Klancnik has two seasons left with the Badgers and has proven to be an important part to the team. He also has shown great leadership skills after stepping up halfway through the season as a captain due to injuries.
