Wisconsin secures 7-0 win over Green Bay
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin was all business on Thursday night as they took on fellow state-school Green Bay at the Nielsen. The Badgers notched a 7-0 win over the Phoenix, building steam for what will be a showdown on Sunday against an elite Oregon team.
The Cardinal and White move to 7-0 in team doubles this season – a huge reason for Wisconsin's impressive 6-1 start.
Junior Chase Colton and sophomore Robert Krill keep doing what they've been doing all year. The pair moves to 6-1 on the season behind a win over Green Bay's Tony Leto and Lachlan Napier. The undefeated German tandem of sophomore Jesper Freimuth and freshman Lenard Soha clinched the team doubles point. The two took down Dipin Wadhwa and Charlie Croxford, 6-0.
The Badgers posted a 6-0 record in the singles category and Lenard Soha clinched the match for UW with a win at No. 5 singles.
Up Next: Wisconsin welcomes No. 15 Oregon to the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Sunday at 11 a.m. (CT). Admission is free.
