MADISON, Wis. – Sign your child up today for the 2019 Wisconsin Volleyball Summer camps! The Badgers will hold 13 camps during May, June, and July for campers from age 4 all the way through players entering 12th grade this fall.

This summer, Badger Volleyball will have programs intended to attract the interest of young campers to introduce them to the game as well as programs that seek to focus on advanced, specific skill instruction for advanced and experienced players.

Under the direction of Wisconsin Head Coach Kelly Sheffield, each of the camps will focus on making better volleyball players in fun, competitive environments. All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number of participants, age, grade level and/or gender.

All campers attending multi-day camps will receive a free camp t-shirt and free camp volleyball with their registration. Campers attending the One-Day camps and Team One-Day camp will receive a free camp t-shirt with their registration.
The volleyball program offers a total of three half-day youth camps for boys and girls ages 4-11. For these "Little Badgers" ages 4-8, two camps will be held, one on May 30-31 and one on June 1-2. These "Little Badgers" youth camps will introduce campers to the sport of volleyball while teaching new skills in a fun environment. For the "Junior Badgers" ages 8-11, one camp will be June 1-2.
The Overnight Team Camp from July 12-14 will address each team's specific needs and work to improve its competition level over the course of three days. The Team One-Day Camp is designed for teams looking to raise their competition level by competing against other varsity and junior varsity teams. New for 2019 - Boys Camps!
Starting this summer, Badger Volleyball is offering camps for boys of all ages. Camp options for boys this summer will now include the Youth All-Skills camp on July 16-18 for grades 4-8 and the Badger Boys Camp on July 16-18 for grades 7-12. These camps will be in addition to the Little and Junior Badgers camps on May 30-31 and June 1-2 for boys ages 4-11.Train like the Badgers
Girls entering the seventh through 12th grades may attend either the Badger Advanced College Prep camp or the Badger Camp to get the "Badger" experience. Training throughout the camp will be similar to how the Badger volleyball team trains, with individual skill development and competition. The Advanced College Prep Camp will work on an accelerated training plan that will incorporate higher-level concepts at a faster pace than the original Badger camp. The Advanced College Prep Camp will be held from July 8-10 with the Badger Camp being held from July 16-18.Position Camps and Serving Camps available on two separate days
The Badgers will offer specialty one-day camps for setters, hitters, and liberos on two separate days. Athletes may participate in special position camps on July 19 and/or July 20. Setters will be taught basic and advanced setting skills. Attackers will learn both beginner and advanced hitting techniques in addition to being introduced to position-specific training for outside, middle, or right-side attacking. Liberos will hone passing and defensive techniques.Serving Camps
The Badgers will offer two separate serving camps. During these one session camps, training will include the breakdown of the techniques of elite level serving, including individual skills and strategies. The two serving camps will occur directly after the individual positions camps on July 19 and July 20.Camps for Youth, Junior, and Little Badgers
A Youth All-Skills camp for boys and girls entering the fourth through eighth grades will be held July 16-18. This day camp focuses on all fundamental volleyball skills including hitting, setting, defense, serving and passing.The volleyball program offers a total of three half-day youth camps for boys and girls ages 4-11. For these "Little Badgers" ages 4-8, two camps will be held, one on May 30-31 and one on June 1-2. Team Camps available
