
Badgers break 4x200 school record at Penn Relays

UW continues successful weekend in Philly
PHILADELPHIA – The Wisconsin women's track and field team enjoyed a record-breaking day on Friday at the 125th edition of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field.

The women's 4x200 relay squad of Gabby DesRosiers, Bianca Stubler, Hannah Wilson and Morgan Parzych took 11th place with a school-record setting time of 1 minute, 38.95 seconds. The group broke the previous school record of 1:39.75 set by Dorcas Akinniyi, Deanna Latham, Jessica Flax, Egle Staisiunaite at the 2011 Florida Relays. Â
In the 4x1500 relay, Amy Davis, Lucinda Crouch, Madison Mooney and Alissa Niggemann took fourth place with a time of 17:58.39, the fifth best time in school history.
Senior Ebony McClendon competed in the 100 meters and took 13th in 11.97.
