PRAGUE, Czech Republic – There was no jet lag for the Wisconsin volleyball team as it opened its European Tour with a sweep of Olymp Praha on Friday afternoon. The Badgers downed Olymp 25-14, 25-15, 25-19 and 25-16 in a friendly fourth set.

Grace Loberg led the Badgers at the net with 12 kills while redshirt senior

Nicole Shanahan (4) showed a balanced offense for Wisconsin.
The Badgers outblocked Olymp Praha 10-4 behind seven blocks from Hart. Duello teamed up for six stops while Shanahan added four blocks.
Wisconsin also scored on six service aces, including four from Hilley. Junior transfer
Lauren Barnes scored twice from the service line.

Notes from the court
- All 15 members of the 2019 Badger roster saw action in the match, each one playing in at least two sets.
- Wisconsin switched up its lineup several times, including senior M.E. Dodge playing in the front row in one set and libero in another. Senior Mallory Dixon and freshman Izzy Ashburn both got the chance to run the UW offense at setter.
- Hart's seven blocks would have been a career high if the match would have counted.

The Badgers travel to Vienna, Austria, on Saturday, spending 3-4 hours touring the city. The team will then head to Maribor, Slovenia, for three nights. Wisconsin takes on the U20 team from Poland on Sunday afternoon.
