Rhodes and Viggiano put the Badgers on top in in-state showdown
MADISON, Wis. – Thanks to goals from Dani Rhodes and Natalie Viggiano, the No. 15 Wisconsin women's soccer team dispatched in-state rival Green Bay, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at the McClimon Soccer Complex.
After a scoreless first half, Wisconsin (4-1-1) midfielder Maia Cella drew a penalty in the Green Bay (3-3-0) box in the 52nd minute. Rhodes calmly took the penalty and fired the ball to the top-right corner of the net to give UW the one-goal advantage.
In the 81st minute, Viggiano added an insurance goal, sliding the ball past Green Bay's goalkeeper to give UW a 2-0 advantage.

- Wisconsin improved its record to 17-0-0 against Green Bay including an 11-0-0 record in Madison.
- Jordyn Bloomer stopped both shots she faced to earn her third shutout of the season and her 11th career blank slate. She needs one shutout to move into 10th in school history.
