WCHA announces second half of 2020-21 schedule

Badgers slated to play 14 regular-season games in 2021

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's hockey program is slated to return to action on Jan. 2 as a part of the second half schedule released by the Western Collegiate Hockey Association on Wednesday.
The top-ranked Badgers are scheduled to play 14 regular-season games, including six games at LaBahn Arena. Â
The Badgers open the New Year with a series at Minnesota State on Jan. 2-3 before returning to LaBahn Arena to face No. 4 Ohio State Jan. 8-9Â and No. 2 Minnesota on Jan. 15-16
UW closes out January with a trip to St. Cloud State on Jan. 23-24 before a bye week the following weekend.
Wisconsin will head to Minnesota on Feb. 6-7, and host Bemidji State Feb. 12-13, before closing out the regular season with a trip to Minnesota Duluth on Feb. 26-27.
The 2021 WCHA Final Faceoff is set to take place in Minneapolis the weekend of March 5. More information about the WCHA's postseason will come at a later date.Â
The 2021 NCAA Women's Frozen Four is slated to take place March 18-20 at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, Pennsylvania. It marks the first time Erie has played host the national championship since the Badgers won the program's fourth NCAA title there in 2011.Â
Game times, along with streaming and radio information, will be released at a later date.Â
