Wisconsin remains undefeated at home after collecting a 5-2 win
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's tennis team remained undefeated at home, defeating the DePaul Blue Demons, 5-2, Friday night from Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Wisconsin came back after dropping the doubles point for the third time this season by winning five of the six singles matches.
Freshman Charmaine Seah was the first to clinch a point for the Badgers, making quick work of her opponent, winning her match, 6-3, 6-0.
Xinyu Cai helped the Badgers take the lead in her win, 6-2, 6-3, while sophomore Antonela Stoica battle back to a third set win to put Wisconsin one point away from a match victory.
Ava Markham was the Badger to seal the match win for Wisconsin, beating her opponent from DePaul, 6-3, 6-2.
