GRADUATE (2022-23): Earned CSC Academic All-District honors for performances on the court and in the classroom... posted a 4.0 GPA in her masters program... the first Badger to compete in the individual championships since 2016... finished her senior season with a 16-8 record in singles matches... Markham left her mark in the Wisconsin record books, earning three All-Big Ten selections and played at the No. 1 position the past three seasons... was named a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Honoree.
SENIOR (2021-22): Two-time Big Ten Athlete of the Week...Primarily played in the No. 1 singles position earning an overall record of 16-5... earned multiple upset wins against ranked opponents such as No. 11 Kari Miller of Michigan and No. 18 Salma Ewing of USC... posted a 14-4 overall record in the No. 3 doubles position with her partner Ariel Johnson...went 1-1 in doubles play with partner Mia Larrain playing in the No. 2 doubles slot
JUNIOR (2020-21): All-Big Ten honoree posted an 11-13 overall record, including an 8-7 mark in Big Ten play ... primarily played at the No. 1 (4-5 overall) and No. 2 (4-4 overall) spot for the Badgers ... ranked fourth on the team for singles wins (11) ... finished the season winning 6 of her final 10 matches...finished 9-13 overall in doubles play, including a 7-10 mark in dual action ... finished 7-8 in dual matches during Big Ten play ... primarily split time playing with partners Xinyu Cai (2-5 overall), Charmaine Seah (2-3 overall) and Antonela Stoica (5-2 overall)
SOPHOMORE (2019-20): Posted a 14-7 total record in her second season with Wisconsin, including 8-2 in dual play and 6-5 in individual tournament play, tied for the second most singles wins on the team...ended the season on a five match win streak... notched a 8-11 doubles record, including 5-4 in dual action...went 2-1 to end the season with partner Miruna Tudor playing in the No. 2 doubles slot
FRESHMAN (2018-19): Competed in the No. 4 singles slot all season...posted a 26-11 overall record, the most wins on the team, including 19-5 in the spring season and 9-2 in conference action...first career win came against teammate MaryAnn Rompf on Oct. 5, 2018...first opponent career win came against Anneroos Nederstigt of University of the Pacific...went 6-1 playing in the No. 5 singles slot...Markham's 9-2 conference record was the best on the team... posted a 15-14 overall record...best record came with teammate Melissa Pick, going 6-3, including 6-2 in dual play

Personal: Parents are Dan and Nina Markham...A five-star Recruit, Markham comes to Wisconsin ranked No. 43 nationally according to tennisrecruiting.net ... she holds a 35-17 record on the USTA junior tennis circuit, including a mark of 28-12 against 4 and 5-star recruits ... prepped at Northern Valley Regional High School and trains at Courtsense Tennis Training Center in Tenafly, N.J. with coach Greg Bolitsky.
