Inaki Iribarren Recognized for Academic and Athletic Achievement

Junior from Spain honored on 2021 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team, honoring student-athletes
MADISON, Wis. – Junior Inaki Iribarren was recognized by CoSIDA as a member of the 2021 District 6 All-America Academic Team.
The annual award honors the country's top student-athletes for their performances on the pitch and in the classroom.
The midfielder led the team in goals (4) and tied for first in points (9) this season. He started in 15 games and played in 16 for the Badgers over the year, and has accumulated 40 career starts with 42 appearances. Iribarren also attempted at least one shot in 13 games for UW in 2021.
He is majoring in Business Information Systems and Economics and has a 3.78 grade point average.
