Badgers-Gophers scrimmage on Lake Mendota
MADISON, WIs. -- Saturday's beautiful fall weather was amplified by a solid scrimmage between the Wisconsin and Minnesota women's rowing programs.Â
Head Coach Bebe Bryans on the day: "It was great to have Minnesota come down and scrimmage with us. Being able to host on Lake Mendota was a real thrill for all of us and our fans. We gained a lot of information and had fun, which was the goal of the day."
The day was made even better by the crowd of Badger and Gopher fans packing the apron at Porter Boathouse.Â
"Thanks to the Gophers for making the trip!" said Bryans.
Great day to be a Badger, great day to be a Gopher, and an overall great day to be on Mendota.
