Leading the way for the Badgers, sophomore Eric Barnett secured his second win of the weekend at 125 pounds. Barnett collected a 10-0 major decision against Northwestern's Matt Vinci to open the meet and score four team points for the Badgers. On Friday, Barnett upset Minnesota's eighth-ranked Patrick McKee with a dominating 17-4 major decision. He is now 5-2 overall (4-2 B1G) this season.

Wisconsin's Kyle Burwick quickly joined the win column at 133 pounds as he secured a 10-1 major decision against Northwestern's Dylan Utterback. Burwick improves his overall record to 3-4 against Big Ten competition this season.

At 174 pounds, Wisconsin's Tyler Dow picked up a gritty 5-4 decision victory over Troy Fisher. The redshirt sophomore raised both teams to their feet as he fought to the last second to secure the win and add three points to the Badgers' scoreboard.

Back on the mat, Chris Weiler rallied back from a 6-2 deficit to earn a 10-4 decision against Northwestern's Jack Jesson. Also returning to the lineup, heavyweight Trent Hillger defeated the Wildcats' Jack Heyob 5-1 for a decision victory.

Wisconsin claimed four of the six extra matches on Sunday, led by Patrick Spray at 165 pounds who pinned Northwestern's Ankhaa Enkhmandakh in 1:55.

Looking ahead, Wisconsin's returns home to face top-ranked Iowa on Sunday, Feb. 21 at the UW Field House. Start time is to be announced, but the match will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network television.
