Broken records, first place finishes, PRs.. Oh my!

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Freshman Kiley Robbins broke  the school record, twice, in the 60-meter dash to highlight the Wisconsin women's track and field at the Hoosiers Hill Invitational on Saturday. In addition to the school record, Wisconsin picked up multiple top-five finishes as well as one personal best.

School record for Robbins

Freshman Kiley Robbins broke the school record in the 60-meter dash, twice in one day. In the preliminaries, the Milwaukee native ran 7.38 seconds, breaking the mark of 7.41 that was set by Ebony McClendon in 2017. In the final, Robbins improved her time to 7.33 seconds, beating the 2020 Big Ten Indoor champion in the 60-meter dash and running the fastest time in the Big Ten this season. Reigning Big Ten champion Anavia Battle of Ohio State finished second in 7.35.

Event winners

In addition to Robbins, the Badgers won two other events. Senior Bianca Stubler won the 400-meter dash, leading Wisconsin to a 1-2-3 sweep. Stubler crossed the finish line in 55.20, which puts her at the No.1 spot in the Big Ten this season and moves her up to sixth on the Badgers' indoor performance list. Ali Dorn came right behind, crossing the finish line in 55.28 for second place while Morgan Parzych finished third in 56.24. Dorn ranks sixth in the Big Ten with her time.

The trio also joined with Madison Mooney to win the 4x400-meter relay in a season's best time of 3:45.21. That time ranks them 10th on UW's all-time indoor performance list and is the fourth-fastest time in the Big Ten this season.

Mooney also second in the 800 meters, running a personal best time of 2:07.66, nearly four seconds better than her previous mark. Danielle Bellino finished fourth in a personal best time of 2;08.83. Those times rank them third and sixth, respectively, in the Big Ten this year.
