
Destiny Huven wins Big Ten title

Sophomore claims first Badger title in 100-meter hurdles
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Sophomore Destiny Huven claimed the Big Ten Conference Outdoor Championship in the 100-meter hurdles to lead the Wisconsin women's track and field team on the final day of the championship on Sunday.
The Badgers scored 55 points to finish eighth in the team race.
Huven also teamed with Armoni Brown, Taylor Gilling and Kiley Robbins to finish fourth in the 4x100-meter relay in 45.04, the No. 2 time in UW history. Robbins also finished ninth in the 100 meters in 11.94.
Stubler improved her personal best time in the 400-meter hurdles by over a second, finishing second in 57.48. Her time moves her up to third on the UW all-time performance list and qualifies her for the NCAA West Preliminary Round.
Mooney and Stubler were also members of the eighth-place 4x400-meter relay that ran the No. 3 time in UW history of 3:39.63. The duo teamed with Gilling and Ali Dorn for the top mark.
Sophomore Josie Schaefer followed up yesterday's third-place finish in the shot put with a fifth place in the discus with a toss of 174 feet, 7 inches.
Junior Lucinda Crouch finished sixth in the 5000 meters in 16:23.60. Sophomores Sarah Shulze and Samantha Stieve placed 14th and 15th, respectively, in 16:47.14 and 16:49.53.
In the 1500 meters, Victoria Heiligenthal placed seventh in a personal best time of 4:18.72 while Hailey Orlowski cleared 13-3 1/2 in the pole vault for eighth place.

Huven claims Big Ten title
Huven became the first Wisconsin athlete to win a Big Ten title in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 13.02 seconds. Her time broke her own school record of 13.03, which she set in Saturday's preliminaries, and qualifies her for the NCAA West Preliminary Round.Huven also teamed with Armoni Brown, Taylor Gilling and Kiley Robbins to finish fourth in the 4x100-meter relay in 45.04, the No. 2 time in UW history. Juniors Madison Mooney and Bianca Stubler both earned silver medals in their respective races.
