Straight from the Rink
Head Coach Mark Johnson
On play over the weekend:
"It was good, both teams hadn't played in a long time. They play hard, their goaltender played well today. They've got six good defensemen who make it difficult to get into scoring areas. It was a good effort on the short practice time that we've had since coming back from Christmas."

On Sarah Wozniewicz:
"Any time you can add depth in your scoring, that's going to help you down the stretch. Woz has played really well, she got a nice goal today and could've had a couple more. She's not a rookie anymore. She's got 22 games under her belt and seems to be playing with a lot of confidence."

Freshman Sarah Wozniewicz
On opening up the new year with a tough opponent:
"I think this weekend was really good for us. They were a really good fast paced team so it was good to get back into it and back up to speed right away."

Senior Kennedy Blair
On Top-Four Battle with Quinnipiac:
"I think it's important when it comes down to rankings and the end of the season pair wise.Just getting that big win on Saturday and a tie today, it comes down to it at the end of the season and who we play in the final eleven."

On First Series Out of Break:
"I thought we came out really strong. I think a lot of girls did really well in staying conditioned and skating over break and coming in we only had four or five practices before this game. I'm really proud of the girls for staying in shape and doing what they needed to do to play these two games this weekend."
