ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The fifth-ranked Wisconsin women's hockey team rallied from a two-goal deficit to dispatch St. Cloud State, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
Caroline Harvey scored the OT winner for UW, launching a rocket into the top part of the net to extend the Badgers' (7-1-0,
Down 2-0 late in the second period, captain
Britta Curl put UW on the board with a power play goal with 43 seconds remaining in the frame.
Casey O'Brien extended play into OT, slotting one with 1:01 left in the third period.
Three Notes of the Game:
- The Badgers extended their unbeaten run against St. Cloud State to 33 games with a 32-0-1- record.
