MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin women's hockey freshman
Caroline Harvey took home another award on Tuesday as the defender was named the WCHA Rookie of the Month.Â
It marks the second-straight month Harvey has been named the WCHA Rookie of the Month and is the fourth time this season that the 2022 Olympian has received an award from the WCHA.Â
The Salem, New Hampshire, native led the Badgers in October with 13 points, which also led all WCHA rookies during the month. She posted six goals and seven assists and was a league-best +13 during the month.Â
Harvey recorded the game-winning goal in UW's 3-2 overtime win at St. Cloud State and also posted two goals in the Badgers' 4-3 win over No. 5 Minnesota Duluth.
The No. 3 Badgers have the next two weeks off from competition before returning to LaBahn Arena to face No. 1 Minnesota on Nov. 19 and 20.Â
