MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's basketball team hits the road and travels down Interstate 94 to Milwaukee to take on in-state rival Marquette on Saturday. Tip is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. CT on FS1.

Here are some notes to know before the Badgers take on the Golden Eagles.

STARTING FIVE

1.) LAST TIME OUT: Wisconsin came up short and suffered a 78-75 defeat to Wake Forest on Tuesday night as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Sophomore point guard Chucky Hepburn led UW scoring 23 points, a new career-high, while senior forward Tyler Wahl scored 17 points and grabbed four rebounds, and junior forward Steven Crowl added 15 points and seven rebounds. Connor Essegian scored 12 points off the bench to round out double-digit scorers for UW.

2.) TAKING CARE OF THE BALL:  In all but one of its seven games so far this season, Wisconsin has had either the same amount or less turnovers than its opponent. The Badgers led the NCAA with the fewest turnovers per game last season, and this year UW is currently ranked No. 14 in the country, turning the ball over just 9.9 times per contest.

3.) MILESTONE MOMENT? Head coach Greg Gard goes for career win number 150 on Saturday. Gard is looking to become the fourth Wisconsin coach to reach the 150-win milestone, and would join Walter "Doc" Meanwell, Bud Foster and Bo Ryan.

4.) I-94 RIVALRY:  Saturday's game will mark the 129th time that Wisconsin and Marquette will face. The Badgers hold the all-time series lead against the Golden Eagles, 69-59. When the programs met last season in Madison, UW earned an 89-76 win. The I-94 rivalry began in 1917 and has been played every season but one since 1958-59.

5.) UP NEXT: Wisconsin returns to the Kohl Center next Tuesday, December 6 to tip off Big Ten Conference play hosting No.22 Maryland. The game is scheduled to tip at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
