Laznickova and Belson finish sixth in pairs

PRINCETON, NJ. — The Wisconsin women's rowing team wrapped up its fall racing season with a slate of races at the Princeton 3-Mile Chase on Lake Carnegie on Sunday.

The Badgers competed in the women's open eight and women's pairs races, and in a large field that included 59 entries, UW's open eight placed 15th in 16:15.328, just over a minute off the pace.

The Badgers' highest finishers were Josefina Laznickova and Grace Belson taking home a team-best sixth place in the pairs.
