Wisconsin heads to Indianapolis for postseason racing

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's rowing team kicks off postseason competition this week when they head to Indianapolis to race in the 2023 Big Ten Championships.

Badger boats will compete in the finals-only competition at the Eagle Creek Reservoir on Sunday, May 14 against Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State and Rutgers.

Before they hit the water, here are f(oar) things to know:

1 - B1G RANKINGS: Michigan comes into the event as the top ranked team at No. 11 in the CRCA Polls, followed by Ohio State at No. 13, Indiana at No. 15, Rutgers at No. 16, and Iowa at No. 18.

2 - ROW ON WISCONSIN: After premiering on Big Ten Network Monday evening, the Wisconsin women's rowing documentary 'Row On Wisconsin' made its worldwide debut on the Wisconsin Badgers YouTube channel on Tuesday.

"Inspired by a storied program and dedicated to the championship-winning 1975 boat, a group of Wisconsin women's rowers come together to celebrate 50 years of excellence, discovering along the way that their passion for the sport and for each other is the ultimate weapon against life's obstacles."

3 - NCAA SELECTIONS: The selections for the 2023 NCAA rowing championships will stream live on NCAA.com on Tuesday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. CT. Full selections will also be published in articles on NCAA.com after the show.

4 - HOW TO WATCH: Stream the regatta on B1G+ or watch the delayed broadcast on Big Ten Network on Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. CT.
