Two Badgers recognized for exceptional play
MADISON, Wis. – Maxwell Keenan and Tim Bielic were named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's All-North Region Third Team.
Max Keenan led the Badgers in points and goals in 2022, scoring seven goals with two assists during his first campaign with Wisconsin soccer. Keenan transferred from Western Michigan and became the first Badger to score seven or more goals since the 2017 season.
Every time Tim Bielic was on the ball in the attacking half this season he was a danger to opposition. He had the most assists on the roster with six and dished out an assist in three consecutive games against Michigan (10/7), Drake (10/10) and Maryland (10/14).
Keenan and Bielic are the first two Badgers named to an all-region team since Mitch Guitar and Robin Olofsson earned honors in 2018.Â
