Badgers announce 2022-23 schedule

UW opens new campaign Sept. 22 at Penn State

MADISON, Wis. – The six-time national champion Wisconsin women's hockey team officially unveiled its schedule for the 2022-23 season, as announced on Monday in conjunction with the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

The Badgers are scheduled to open the 2022-23 campaign with a road trip at Penn State on Sept. 22-23, which will mark UW's first-ever trip to University Park, Pennsylvania.

Wisconsin is set to drop the puck at LaBahn Arena for its home opener on Sept. 29-30 against Lindenwood.

UW begins conference play Oct. 7-8 against St. Thomas, as the Tommies will make their first-ever trip to LaBahn Arena.

The Badgers will face four teams that were in the NCAA tournament last season in league opponents Minnesota, Minnesota Duluth, Ohio State, plus a trip to Hamden, Connecticut, to face Quinnipiac on Dec. 31, 2022 and Jan. 1, 2023.
