Men’s soccer takes on Penn State to start Big Ten campaign
MADISON, Wis. – The Badgers' 2022 Big Ten schedule gets underway tonight at 6 p.m. against Penn State. Wisconsin travels to University Park in a bid to start off their Big Ten schedule 1-0.
Here are five things to know
1. PLAYERS TO WATCH: Junior Maxwell Keenan, who is in his first season with the team after transferring from Western Michigan, has been on an absolute tear the past few games for the Badgers. Through 5 games so far he has 4 goals and 2 assists, notably bagging 2 goals and 1 assist in the last game against Marquette.
Junior Peter Mangione is one to watch for the Nittany Lions. Through 5 games he has 3 goals and 2 assists.

2. LOOKING BACK: This matchup has been played a total of 36Â times with UW having an all-time record of 13-21-2. The past five matchups have seen the Nittany Lions come out on top, with the most recent result being a 2-0 loss on October 31, 2021.
