MADISON, Wis. - The 13th-ranked Wisconsin women's cross country team travels to Minneapolis for the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday. The women's 6,000-meter begins at 11:15 a.m. on Les Bolstad Golf Course.Â
2. STRONG TEAM PERFORMANCE: The Badgers showed how strong of a team they are as they won the Badger Open with a perfect score of 15 points. Wisconsin's top-five runners finished within eight seconds of each other with the top-four runners crossing within 0.3 seconds of each other. .Â
3. WHAT TO LOOK FOR: This weekend's meet consists of three women's races, including many schools across all three NCAA Division levels, with the Badgers competing in the Women's Gold 6K race. The Badgers are ranked 13th in this week's USTFCCCA national poll. Wisconsin will be challenged by No. 14 Colorado State, No. 19 Utah, No. 23 Michigan State, No. 25 Ohio State, No. 26 Iowa State, and No. 29 Cal Baptist,
