Midfielder returns to Midwest from Coastal Carolina

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men's soccer welcomes Noah Glorioso to its program as a transfer from Coastal Carolina, head coach Neil Jones announced on Friday.

"We are excited to add a player of Noah's character, experience and ability," Jones said. "It was clearly evident in our conversations that Noah shares the same competitive drive, love of the game, and passion for the Wisconsin Badgers that everyone within our program does. Welcome to Madison Noah!"

The Naperville, Illinois, native joins the Badgers with two years of eligibility remaining after starting 13 of 15 games last season for Coastal Carolina as a junior midfielder. He set up four goals and fired three of his four shots on goal.

Glorioso started seven of 14 games as a sophomore, when he posted an assist.

He started 13 of his 16 appearances as a freshman and scored his first collegiate goal in the Chanticleers 3-0 victory against Georgia Southern that helped clinch the Sun Belt Conference Championship.

Before college, Glorioso graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School, where he won a regional title as a freshman and reached the regional final as a sophomore and senior. He also picked up numerous individual accolades during his career including 2019 Naperville Sun All-Area honors for his 10-goal, 10-assist senior season. He was twice named to the IHSSCA All-Sectional Team and DuPage Valley All-Conference squad as two-time team MVP.

With his club team, he helped his Galaxy Soccer Club squad to the 2018 USYS U18 National Championship, was a regional finalist in 2019 and won the 2020 USYS National League Blue Division. He was also a 2019 Generation Adidas Real Madrid USA Select Player.
