ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The 17th-ranked Wisconsin women's swimming and diving team split in action at the Canham Aquatic Center on Saturday. The Badgers dominated Pittsburgh, 205 - 95, while falling to No. 16 Michigan, 174-126.
The Badgers won six events, including double-event winners
Mallory Jump and
Paige McKenna.
Jump dominates fly
Jump kicked off her individual events by winning the 200 fly in 2 minutes, 0.77 seconds. She also won the 100 fly in 54.19.
Senior
Mikayla Seigal finished second in the 200 fly in 2:00.99 and seventh in the 100 fly in 56.72.
Sophomore
Mackenzie McConagha took third in the 100 fly in 54.84.
McKenna sweeps distance frees
The reigning national champion in the 1650 free, McKenna won both the 1000 free, touching in 9:54.60, and the 500 free in 4:51.29.
Wisconsin swept the top-three spots in the longer race with freshman
Blair Stoneburg, finishing second in 10:04.01, and senior
Alivia Lindorfer, touching in 10:08.08 for third.
In the 500 free, the Badgers claimed three of the top-four places. Sophomore
Abby Carlson finished third in 4:53.44 while junior
Elle Braun took fourth in 4:57.39.

Bacon, McConagha win events
Junior
Phoebe Bacon and McConagha also won events for Wisconsin.
Bacon won her signature event, the 200 back, in 1:57.97. McConagha completed a 1-2 sweep for the Badgers, touching in 1:59.30 for second place.
McConagha led all swimmers in the 100 back, finishing in 54.33.
Bacon also finished second in the 200 IM in 2:01.83. Sophomore
Katie McClintock placed fourth in 2:04.04 while senior
Elizabeth Moore took fifth in 2:04.21.
Other top finishers
Carlson was also the top UW finisher in the 200 free, taking second in 1:49.04.
Moore led Wisconsin in the 100 breast, touching in 1:02.81 for second place. She also took second in the 200 breast in 2:15.55.
The Badgers wrapped up the meet, finishing second in the 400 free relay with the team of Stoneburg, Carlson, Bacon and Fiske combining to touch in 3:23.62.

Wisconsin wraps up its home season and its Big Ten Conference Championship preparations by hosting Green Bay on Friday. Events begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center. The Badgers will recognize their 2022-23 senior class in post-meet ceremonies.
