Carter records top-15 finish at Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship

Wisconsin takes 12th after three rounds of play
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Wisconsin women's golf has completed the fall season with a 12th place finish at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship.
The team ended 35-over par (295-299-293=887) and was led by Carly Carter who finished tied for 14th at one-over par. Central Florida earned top honors among the 14-team field as they finished 17-under par.
Carter paced UW in the third round, shooting an impressive three-under 68 to finish the tournament tied for 14th. The junior shot a new career-low 18-hole score and matched her career-low 54-hole score of 214.
Kate Brody recorded a three-over 74 to place 55th and Vanessa Ho shot a four-over 75 to tie for 67th.
Alexia Siehl and Chloe Chan each tallied a five-over 76 in the final round. Siehl finished tied for 50th and Chan tied for 61st.
Brody improved her score by six strokes as she carded a one-over 72. Siehl shot a three-over 74 and Carter followed closely with a four-over 75. Carter paced the team in birdies with five.
Chan tallied a seven-over 78 and Ho shot an eight-over 79.
Carter made par to pace the Badgers, while Chan and Siehl each shot a two-over 73.
Both Brody and Ho tallied a seven-over 78 to round out the lineup.

Tuesday, October 17 - Round 3
The Badgers carded a 293 (+9) in the final round for their best score of the tournament.Carter paced UW in the third round, shooting an impressive three-under 68 to finish the tournament tied for 14th. The junior shot a new career-low 18-hole score and matched her career-low 54-hole score of 214.
Kate Brody recorded a three-over 74 to place 55th and Vanessa Ho shot a four-over 75 to tie for 67th.
Alexia Siehl and Chloe Chan each tallied a five-over 76 in the final round. Siehl finished tied for 50th and Chan tied for 61st.
Monday, October 16 - Round 2
The Badgers shot a 299 (+15) on the second day of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship.Brody improved her score by six strokes as she carded a one-over 72. Siehl shot a three-over 74 and Carter followed closely with a four-over 75. Carter paced the team in birdies with five.
Chan tallied a seven-over 78 and Ho shot an eight-over 79.
Sunday, October 15 - Round 1
Wisconsin carded a 295 (+11) in the first round of play to place 12th.Carter made par to pace the Badgers, while Chan and Siehl each shot a two-over 73.
Both Brody and Ho tallied a seven-over 78 to round out the lineup.
