
Men’s hockey 75th season promotional schedule announced

Fans enjoy autographs, sweepstakes and more throughout the season

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men's hockey continues to celebrate its 75th season with the release of the promotional schedule for the remainder of its 2023-24 season.
As previously announced, UW will honor many of those who have made an impact on the illustrious program throughout the season, including six games being chosen for special recognition.
- Skaters Night will take place on Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. when Wisconsin takes on Michigan. The greatest Badger skaters will be recognized in the week leading up and throughout the game.
2010 Hobey Baker Memorial Award winner Blake Geoffrion will also be in attendance for a pregame book signing in the concourse for Sam Jefferies' book "Legacy on Ice: Blake Geoffrion and the Fastest Game on Earth." The signing will be open to general public season tickets holders upon gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Beginning 6 p.m., the signing will be open to all. The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Trophy will also be out for photos.
- Goalie Night will occur when Ohio State visits the Kohl Center on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. Masks from former Badger goalies will be on display in the concourse behind Section 107.
- Wisconsin Night, where UW will recognize the best of the best to represent their home state, will happen versus Penn State on Friday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m.
- NHL Night will take place during game two of the home border battle versus Minnesota on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. UW will honor all of the contributions the Badgers have made to the NHL. During the game, enter the jersey sweepstakes to win one of four signed jerseys from former Wisconsin players in the NHL.
- Champions Night will occur versus Notre Dame on Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. Wisconsin men's hockey team trophies from UW's history will be available for viewing on the concourse behind Section 107.
- Fan Appreciation Night will take place when Michigan State visits on March 1 at 8 p.m. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a 75 Seasons of Wisconsin hockey rally towel.
In addition to the 75th season celebration, various single-game promotions will also take place throughout the year, such as student giveaways, team autograph sessions and theme nights.
Notable dates include:
- Pre-game kid tunnel on Friday, Nov. 24 versus Alaska Anchorage. The first 75 kids to purchase a FEVO ticket will be able to participate in our longest fan tunnel ever.
- Post-game autograph sessions on Saturday, Nov. 25 versus Alaska Anchorage and Saturday, Jan. 13 versus Lindenwood. Half of the team will be present – names will be released at a later date.
- The BMO Teddy Toss will take place on Saturday, Dec. 9 versus Penn State. Bring your teddy bears to throw onto the ice after the game, with all bears being donated to Toys 4 Tots.
- Faceoff Against Cancer Night on Friday, Jan. 12 versus Lindenwood. Members of the UW Carbone Center will be recognized during the game.
- Senior Day on Saturday, March 2 versus Michigan State. All Badger men's hockey seniors will be honored during a pregame ceremony.
